I must strongly agree with the Juicy Lucy! Our new Minneapolis ballpark needs a South Minneapolis invention. Let's make our mark right now. Minnesota needs to be known for something delicious and get over this whole lutefisk joke. The Juicy Lucy will put us on the culinary map.

Stadium Banh Mi would be a dream come true. Quick, cheap and delicious plus pairs great with beer. Speaking of Bahn Mi, did anyone read the Vietnamese food porn in the NYT Tuesday? http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2009/04/07/dining/08banh.5.ready.html

That sandwich photo gets me aroused.

Cheese curds should be mandatory.
Tater Tots would be great, if possible flavored ala Bulldog NE.

Perhaps some more interesting fare via Nicollet/Lake Street: Banh mis, tortas, tacos, shawarma etc...

An improvement to the beer selection would be greatly appreciated.

It was pretty hilarious to watch Man vs. Food where the host ate lutefisk for the first time with Andrew Zimmern. He ate one bite and that was it

@Shefzilla

It's not a bad idea but really? Lutefisk? White fish soaked in lye is not amazing. I think people are hating for a justifiable reason. I'll eat it and have, but only to be polite. Also you're only cornering a small percentage of the population of our state with this so called "delicacy".

How about tuna casserole or some sort of hot dish, on a stick? I have no idea how one would begin to make this, and I promise not to try this at home, but I am sure the professionals could come up with a suitable rendition.

How about this for a challenge, shefzilla!
